Annual International Meeting 2019 ‘AH 3000 Diamond Anniversary’

Thursday 9th – Sunday 12th May

The Penventon Park Hotel, Redruth, Cornwall, TR15 3AD

In 2019 we’ll be celebrating ‘60 years of the Austin Healey 3000’ with a 3 night stay in this luxury 4 star Hotel & Spa with its award winning restaurant, to include dinner, bed and breakfast, and Sunday lunch. The price is £375 per person and includes entrance charges for our visits over the weekend.

The hotel has a mix of rooms for double occupancy as well as some single rooms, and these will be allocated on a first come basis. Room numbers are limited and subject to availability, so book early to avoid disappointment.

The weekend itinerary will start with a trip to ‘The Telegraph Museum’, to see the history of modern communications, followed by a scenic planned drive.

Saturday will see us visiting ‘The Lost Gardens of Heligan’, and later the ‘Healeys Cornish Cyder Farm’ for a cream tea, where we also hope to meet the Healey family and view their collection of cars.

Our guest speaker tonight will be Bill Price, who was Assistant to the Competitions Managers at BMC during the Healey 3000’s heyday.

On Sunday morning we will visit Perranporth and park on the front, for a look around Donald Healey’s home town and to complete the concours judging, before returning to the Hotel for lunch and the awards.
